About the Podcast

How the Podcast was Started:

The Purposeful Women of God Podcast was formed between cousins, Ashlee Calvert and Tabitha Howard, over a calling God was placing on their hearts.  Both were seeking a way to broaden their ministries and had a passion to uplift, encourage and inspire today’s women to seek out their true purpose in life, which begins with a meaningful and purposeful relationship with Christ.

Our Mission:

Our mission is to help all women discover their true purpose by changing their focus to Jesus Christ in every aspect of life.

Our Beliefs:

We believe that the Bible is the infallible word of God without flaw and should be used as our roadmap in life.  We believe salvation comes only through Jesus Christ and is a free gift to all who turn from their sin and accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior.  We believe God’s redemptive plan is perfect and therefore, secures the believer for all of eternity.  We believe in a Triune God - God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.  We believe that God sent his son Jesus Christ to this earth, was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin and in His obedience to the Father became the substitutionary sacrifice by dying on a cross.  Three days later He rose from the dead with a glorified body.  He ascended into heaven and is now at the right hand of God the Father where He is the Mediator between God and man.  He will one day return in power and glory to judge the world and to complete His redemptive mission.  The Holy Spirit now dwells in all believers as the promised Comforter and ever-present God.
