Ep. 79: Esther - For Such a Time as This | Women of the Bible Series Ep. 19

Our story today is about a common, poor orphaned girl who would grow up to become the wife of the King but her story doesn’t quite become all that we would hope it would be…life in the palace isn’t always ballgowns and parties, it comes with great responsibility and sometimes heartache and that is what we see as we study the life and legacy of Queen Esther in today’s lesson.

As we study Queen Esther today, something important to note is that God’s name is not mentioned one time in this entire book of the Bible, no words spoken from Him, no proclamations from His prophets, but throughout this Book we will see His divine hand clearly at work in the lives of His people.  As we share this story today, be on the lookout for God from beginning to end.

Esther was heroic and risked her life to save her people she had one of the biggest “for such a time as this” moments in history. She realized their was a purpose for her being chosen to be in the King’s castle and that purpose was greater than she could have ever imagined! What has been your “for such a time as this” moment or moments? Take some time to reflect on those and know that God still has great plans and purpose for your life! You were put here on this earth at this very moment in history FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS!
