Ep. 80 - Gomer Come Home! | Women of the Bible Series Ep. 20
Have you ever felt the need to escape? Just a time to wash all your troubles away? I’ve heard stories of kids running away from home and a lot of times the kids had great homes but they were running away out of rebellion. Sometimes people can get so deep into their escapes that they run away from home leaving behind the only true people that care about them. A lot of times they escape into sin whether it be alcohol, sexual sin, drugs, satanic worship or bad relationships - it seems there’s a deep drawing to these worldly behaviors, they don’t know who they are outside of them and they think they need them to be complete. This is just a little piece of the woman’s story we will be looking at today and that woman is Gomer.
There is so much to learn from our story today it’s an interesting one that has a very strange beginning but ends with love and redemption. It shows no matter how bad we mess things up in this life that our Lord is always willing to stretch out his hand and pick us back up.
We can’t believe we are finally on our last episode in our old testament women of the bibles series we can’t thank all of you enough for following along with us through these last 20 episodes. We hope you have enjoyed learning about all of these women as much as we have.
