Ep.59 - The Resurrection of the Saints: The Differing Eschatology Views Explained

We’re so excited to have Tabitha’s husband pastor Derek Howard back on with us today as we wrap up our teaching on 1 Corinthians chapter 15. Today we’re discussing the resurrection of the saints or the “rapture” as we like to call it. The word “rapture” is not recorded in the bible but it just means to be caught up and because we have been made alive in Christ, we get to experience the resurrection of our bodies one day in what we call the rapture.

There can be a lot of confusion around eschatology or “end time” beliefs there’s Pre-Millennialism, A-Millennialism, Pre-Tribulation & Post-Tribulation beliefs. Derek breaks each of these down in this episode and discusses what we believe and why we believe it.

This episode is full of so much hope for the believer that this is not our final resting place and Paul ends the chapter with these encouraging words,  “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” We talk about Paul’s sarcasm throughout first Corinthians but he also knows how to leave an encouraging message.

Listen now for the full teaching on the resurrection of the saints and end time beliefs.

God Bless from Our Hearts to Yours,

Ashlee & Tabitha
