Ep. 58 - Defending the Resurrection - Without it there is no Christian Faith

We are so excited for today’s episode teaching on the first part of 1 Corinthians chapter 15. We are very grateful to have Tabitha’s husband Derek on with us today to help drive home how important believing in the resurrection of Jesus really is to our faith.

Without the resurrection, Jesus would have been known as just an example of someone with good moral character but because of the resurrection and the fact that he conquered death & the grave we can worship him as the one and only Lord and Savior. No other religion has a God that hung on a cross and bore their sin debt and no other religion has a God that rose from the grave.

Jesus is all powerful and without the belief in his resurrection there can be no salvation. To accept Jesus as Lord and Savior of our lives we must believe in the virgin birth, that he died on a cross, was buried in a borrowed tomb and that he rose again 3 days later. Without the resurrection our personal faith in Jesus Christ is in vein.

We love the example Derek gave us where the resurrection can be seen in nature and was depicted in the old testament. Listen now for his explanation on this and so much more!
