Episode 22: Fruit of the Spirit Ep. 3 A Peace that passes all understanding

If we’re ever asked “what is one thing that we would wish for,” what would it be? Most everyone would say world peace.  So why haven’t we achieved it?  Why are there still wars?  Why is there still fighting among people?  Is peace something that can ever be obtained?

If God is truly a good God then why is there still famine, wars and crime?

We are addressing this and more in today’s episode as we continue our study of the Fruit of the Spirit from Galatians 5 and the topic of Peace.

First, we discuss Jesus as the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6) and then we look at 3 aspects of peace and how we can obtain peace in our personal lives.

We must first be at peace with God. (Rom. 3:23, 6:23; John 3:16, 14:6)

Then, we can experience the peace of God. (John 14:26-27, 16:33; Phil. 4:6-7)

In order to live at peace with others. (Eph. 4:1-7)

What’s the purpose?

Maybe you’ve recognized that you’ve never experienced true peace with God. We want to remind you that today is the day of salvation.  Admit you’re a sinner, believe in Jesus, Call on Him to be your Lord and Savior. As always, if you ever have any questions or want to know more about salvation, feel free to reach out to us at purposefulwomenofgod@gmail.com and we would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

If you’ve never experienced the peace we’ve talked about today, it’s time to make a change and turn to Jesus and experience the peace that passes all understanding.

What’s the challenge?

If you are a follower of Christ, seek peace in your relationships but more than anything, ask God to fill you with His peace.  That doesn’t mean that your life will be easy but it does mean that you can experience the Prince of Peace in a way that will bring peace to your soul.
